Where To Buy KneeRover® Products

The KneeRovers and accessories can be purchased from Knee Walkers Direct. Please feel free to send us an email or call us if you have any questions in relation to purchasing from us.

What type of brakes does our knee scooters have?

All the Knee Rovers have rear brakes. Please check the specifications section on our products for the specific type of brake – disc brake or bicycle clamp brake.

Is there a weight capacity for the knee walkers?

The weight capacity varies on each Knee Rover. Some of our knee scooters have a weight capacity of up to 28 stones. Please check the Specifications section of all our products to find the kneewalker that best suits you.

How much does a kneewalker weigh?

All the kneewalkers will vary in weight. Please check the specification section of each product.

Will the handle fold down without removing the seat?

Yes, the handle will fold down if the seat has been removed or not. In order to break down the walker to the most compact position possible the seat will need to be removed.

Do the knee walkers fold up for transport & fit in a car?

All of our knee walkers fold easily by lowering the steering column. The seat can then be removed and reattached underneath the walker in order to fold in the most compact position. When this is done our walkers will fit into most cars for transport.

Are your knee scooters steerable?

Yes, all the products in our range are steerable.

Are the seat & handlebars height adjustable?

Yes, the seat and handlebars are both height adjustable on all of our knee scooters. The user height varies on all our knee walkers. We have a suggested height range listed under specifications in the product section of our website. Our kneewalkers are suitable for height ranges from 3’6” to 6’8”.

Is there a user manual?

Yes, all our products will include a user manual. These user manuals are also available to download from our website.

How do I know which model is best for me?

We offer the widest selection of knee scooters / walkers available on the market. We aim to meet the needs and requirments of all our customers, offering a wide range to choose from. When choosing a kneewalker all factors including weight, height and where you intend to use the knee scooter need to be considered. Is there a knee scooter to suit small adults and children?

There are two KneeRover products that will suit small adults and children. These are the Knee Walker JR and the KneeRover Jr. The Knee Walker JR will suit people that are 3ft 6" - 5ft 4". The KneeRover Jr is suggested for people 4ft - 5ft 9".

Can I use a knee walker on carpet? Will they mark floors?

Our knee walkers will work on carpet. Our two All Terrain models will be easier to move on carpet and all other surfaces that are not hard and smooth. Our knee walkers feature non-marking rubber wheels on all non-all terrain models. The all terrain air filled tyres on occasion can mark floors if the user skids across the floors with brake applied. When this occurs marks are easily cleaned up by wiping with a wet cloth.

Is it possible to purchase spare parts?

Yes, all parts are available for purchase if required.

Is there a good tyre inflator for the All Terrain KneeRover® scooter?

Yes, most bicycle tyre inflators with a compact head will work.

Will I have to assemble my kneewalker?

There will be very little assembly when you get your kneewalker. The knee pad, steering column and basket may need to be attached to the frame. All instructions will be included in the box. They will also be available to download from our website.

Would it be possible to rent a knee scooter?

Yes, we also offer a rental service.

Will I need a prescription to purchase a knee walker?

No prescription is needed to buy a knee walker from us.
